My name is Gene (Jason) Ho-Ching and I was born and raised in American Samoa.  I also spent much of my upbringing in Hawaii.  I attended BYU from 1998-2002 and married my wife, Melinda, from Spanish Fork.

After graduating from BYU, I moved my family down to Mesa, AZ and started a flag football league there in 2012.  I made it affordable, fun and convenient.  The league doubled in size every year and soccer, baseball, basketball and volleyball were added soon after.

Today this league has almost 4,000 kids register every season (appx 12,000/year) and it pits teams from Mesa, Gilbert, Queen Creek and Chandler against each other.

I moved my my wife and seven kids back to Utah in 2019 and am bringing the same league format here.  I am doing this because intra-city play is much more fun for the kids.  This first season will have games at Spanish Fork and the plan is to have a north county location in the near future.  It all depends on the growth of the league.

I am excited to be your host for this league and I hope you will help by spreading the word.  Thanks!

Gene Ho-Ching,
League Director
